KIMOJI
Upon completion of the Kim Kardashian app and website, we pitched the idea to Kim that she should have her own keyboard of emojis––naturally, called KIMOJI. They would be based on her many legendary facial expressions, physical assets, and catchphrases. It was a hit.
In 2016, we launched to several million downloads and crashed the app store, Kim claiming it “broke the internet.” For the next year, I worked directly with Kim and her team to create thousands of KIMOJIs, from her and her siblings’ many expressions, to nugs of weed and a peach dripping in cream.
From the extraordinary success of the keyboard, we launched merch using the designs. The merch was sold on kimoji.com and at Urban Outfitters.
