World Title Race 2018
Each year, the WSL creates a campaign to promote the Title Race––the last few events before the World Champion is crowned. In 2018, we had an incredible group of athletes from Brazil, the USA, and Australia vying for the title, from which we drew the narrative of a multi-cultural, forward-moving momentum within professional surfing.
We developed a series of videos in both Portuguese and English that dived into the legendary history of the Title, the spot, and the many rivalries between the pool of athletes. These lived on social media, on linear television, and in the WSL’s broadcast. Alongside those, we created several moving and static assets that lived across social media.
